Je me suis trop souvent laisser emporter dans les piles de devoirs et de travaux, ne sachant pas trop où m’en aller. Mes projets d’avenir n’ont jamais pris en compte les études que j’accomplissais et penser trop loin m’angoissait. Mon séjour au Cégep a pris la forme d’un stress constant qui m’empêchait de parvenir à voir la fin. Ayant toujours voulu voyager, j’ai décidé dès mon entrée, qu’une graduation était synonyme d’une pause bien méritée. 

 

Au fil des semaines, j’ai compris que je m’approchais réellement du but. J’arrive désormais à voir que mes rêves peuvent se réaliser. Finir le Cégep et obtenir mon diplôme fut une longue épreuve; trois ans dans trois programmes différents et j’y serai enfin parvenue. Fermer ce chapitre c’est de se permettre de rêver et de voir la liberté. C’est d’être capable de réaliser toutes mes envies.

 

Ce projet, sous la forme d’un collage, est symbolique de la liberté. La liberté qu’une graduation peut m’apporter et la liberté intérieure d’avoir accompli tout ce trajet. Sous ces fleurs en éclosion se présente la beauté du printemps, un temps nouveau auquel de futures aventures m’attendent et la joie qui s’amène dans toutes ses couleurs exaltantes.

Too often, I have let myself get carried away under the pile of homework and assignments, without ever knowing where I was supposed to go. My plans for the future never involved the studies I was doing and thinking too far ahead would make me anxious. Being in CEGEP took the shape of constant stress and prevented me from seeing the end. Having always wanted to travel, I decided from the start that graduation would equal a well-deserved pause. 

 

As the weeks went by, I realized that I was getting closer to my goal. I am now able to see that my dreams can come true. Finishing CEGEP and obtaining my diploma was a hard test; three years in three programs and I finally made it. Closing this chapter is allowing myself to dream and to feel free. It is being able to fulfill all my desires. 

 

This project, in the form of a collage, is symbolic of freedom. The freedom that graduation can bring me and the inner freedom to have accomplished this journey. Beneath these blooming flowers is the beauty of spring, a new time in which future adventures await me and the joy that comes in all of its exciting colours.
