The project I intend to do is a collage. Whilst I had other intentions and other project ideas, I think that it is the right option for me. I have done collages before and I feel more comfortable doing one in the time I have. As it is my last semester in CEGEP, I want to explore the themes of freedom surrounding graduation.

 

To do my collage, I will use pictures cut out from magazines I already have at home. I will use glue and a wood panel as my base. I might also add details with acrylic paint on top of the images. I will use the encaustic wax technique to finish off my collage. This involves adding a layer of wax as a final layer to keep everything in place. The wax also adds a blurry effect on the images. 

 

I think that it will take about two full days to complete, but in order to do it right, I will take my time and do it over several days.
